get_ping_times(pingrec_time, idx)	Given a rangeangle Dataset and an index of values that we are interested in from the Dataset, return the ping time, which is just the time coordinate of the rangeangle Dataset
validate_kluster_input_datum(new_datum)	Check the given datum string identifier or epsg code for a valid kluster datum.
